An education project created
during the Covid pandemic.
Special hand-bound editions were donated to the school library and the Grand Marais Library
SQUEEZED was coordinated by WISE and funded with grants from the Karen Smaby Estate and the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation.
Karen was a local entrepreneur, charter member of the Grand Marais Fiber Guild, an instructor at North House Folk School, and devoted much time working with school kids to teach them the arts of book binding.
